well... HAPPY HALLOWEEN! i really liked the post the did last year, so i sort of tried to copy it. we'll see what happens this year because of the hurricane, but today i'm planning on watching Ellen to see what she'll dress up as and then trick-or-treating with my sister!

pretty Winter photos from bellene_ , on Flickr! sort of an ode to the snow that parts of the country are getting right now, i suppose -- did you hear West Virginia got 26 inches of snow?!
as you probably know, the east coast is expected to get someheavy rain and winds the next few days from the Hurricane Sandy. i don't know about you, but when it's raining i like to do one of two things:
1) stay home and do something quiet so i can hear it on the roof
or
2) get stuck in a store of some type and enjoy looking around while hearing rain/thunder
right now i really want to do the second one. i don't know why, but there's just something so calming about walking around target looking at shoes and hearing rain on the roof. is that just me?
it's been a day now that i've had my license and i've been around the world and back! my friend and i went to a million different stores today (we're so weird because we've wanted to do that our whole lives) and then i just went out by myself to pick something up for my mom. bliss!

what was your favorite thing about getting your license? just being by yourself or getting to go anywhere?
have a great weekend! we're going to a Halloween party tonight and my friend and i are in charge of all the kiddos. tiring night ahead!
i love these watercolors from the shop River Luna! they are so perfect. that first one is actually on my Tumblr and i'm so glad i found were it came from! i really need to get my hands on one of these!
Loving: 40s on 40 station in the car. it's my new guilty pleasure! and i really can't even tell you why. 40s music just makes me happy -- or at least happier than the music of today does! think what you will.
Making me happy: Fall! how could Fall not make you happy? even though nature is dying, the colors of the leaves are beautiful and the caramel apple spice at Starbucks never tasted better!
Watching: New Girl! it's back! gotta love that show. oh - and 13 nights of Halloween on ABC Family! you can't go though October without watching that!
Anticipating: Thanksgiving! i know i should be anticipating Halloween a little more, but Thanksgiving just gives me a fuzzy feeling. i skip school the day before and we go out to breakfast, then have a wonderful Thanksgiving day, and then Black Friday! hopefully my friends and i meet up and shop again like last year!
Listening to: Ed Sheeran! i finally got his CD and i'm so so in love. i think if i keep listening to it i'll get tired of it, but that doesn't seem to be happening! check out his song Wake Me Up -- soooo pretttty!
Working on: looking better in the mornings. at least my head! like i've said before, i put my hair in a bun every singe day and then just add some mascara and eye liner. but this summer i got obsessed with eye shadow (check!) and i just got a new curling iron! so all i need to do now i get up earlier.... :/
Wishing: (i had my license by now ;)

let me say, once again, how wanderlust i am! this time, not really go any place in particular. just to go on a plane! i can't explain how much i want to look out the window and see views like these. look at that last picture - so pretty!! i've only been on a plane once and it was when i was 5, so i obviously don't remember much. tell me about it! ;)

i had to post this. this women is my hero - she said all the right things. i can't believe someone would take time out of their day like this to be mean. Jennifer, you're beautiful!
also, it is Bullying Awareness month. wearing blue nail polish on your pinky shows that you're against it, as well as many other things. anything that you can do to stand up to it means something.
i hate bullies and i don't get why people have to be so cruel to others. it doesn't make sense to me and i'm doing all i can to show my support for those that are bullied and trying to stop those that are the bullies. i went through it in Middle school and i can tell you that any small thing will help.
have you all heard of Amanda Todd? she recently committed suicide due to constant bullying. it sickens me so much how incredibly rude people can be.
please never bully and if you know someone getting bullied, help them no matter what.
sorry for the sad post, but it's something that can't be ignored and i wish i could do more to help.

how jealous are you of this girl? her boyfriend is a photographer, so she gets to take flawless photos all the time! plus, going to Europe to watch fashion shows isn't so rough either ;)
