Life in Cambridge, MA

I thought I'd give you all a little update on what I'm up to around here! I talk about how much I love it all the time, but I never really give any details further than that. Here are some recent pictures I've taken! They are just from Instagram, but I do hope to take my camera out soon enough to take some actual pictures. Until then...

lately...

I thought I'd share some 'grams about what I've been up to lately!

 

{these are just some pictures of the beautiful Fall weather -- the first one is on Havre de Grace and all the others are in PA}

 

{I've been chilling out a lot -- I have a new obsession with The Office and I need help!, I LOVE Miley! If you haven't heard her CD check it out!!, I just started The Fault in Our Stars and I'm reading it for the first time (crazy, I KNOW) and I'm loving it so far!, and I love using makers and water while painting watercolor... it's much better than actual watercolors in my opinion}

 

{and then this past week I've been SUPER busy! non stop moving, really! I met up with wonderful family from NC that I haven't see in 2 years -- it was great being with them!, I went to a Phillip Phillips concert! I've been waiting 8 months because I got them for my birthday back in March. He's phenomenal! I absolutely LOVED the concert and would forsure see him again, I went to a college visit to Carlow in Pittsburgh -- I loved being in the city but the school just isn't for me, and the last one isn't from my Instagram but I went to an amazing corn maze with my cousin and her boyfriend a couple Sundays ago! It was a really great day!}

 

So tell me what's going on in your life! I have great posts lined up. I shouldn't feel silly for not blogging much, but I do. Even though I've just had a lack of inspiration and don't really know what to post about, I love coming to my blog. It's a place where I can come home from school and put my thoughts on virtual paper. I love being myself on here.

hello, friends! here are some recent Instagrams:

{my friend Alexandra, from China, sends me keychains from everywhere she goes -- is she the best or what??}

{some people from the art department went on a field trip to DC for the day a little while ago. so fun!}

{a DIY vase i made and some flowers. for the vase: i made my own glass paint with glue, water, and food coloring and then dotted it on with the opposite end of a paint brush}

{i thrifted a table from Salvo and re-did it for my mom. it turned out super well! i'll have to take pictures!}

{we got a new dog! i'll probably do another post on this, but long story short, i think it's too soon that we got him after Cody and all, but he loves to cuddle and this will work. his name is Charlie!}

i know sometimes Instagram posts can be boring if you follow me on Instagram, but here are some pictures:

Rita's is FINALLY open!!, my friend gave me cd with SO many great songs on it for my birthday, this is my favorite dress right now -- so cute!, i got all organized and i feel SO good!!



my bunny phone case that i'm in love with AND it's a great conversation starter!, i had to take pictures for photography class and i felt like a real photographer with the lights and everything, I Love Lucy marathons make me so happy, i have a new obsession: drawing on myself with Sharpie. it's weird, but i can't stop!

it snowed here last Monday -- crazy!, i bought face masks & hair products & powder & lotion and gave myself a spa day on Thursday!, we painted Easter eggs yesterday, i babysat for the first time in a while last night and i did the little girls hair and i'm SUPER proud of it! look at it!!

(got my cartilage pierced, blew out the candles, got Phillip Phillips tickets!!!!, went out to dinner)

 

fun stuff! and it went so quickly. but i'm breaking in 17 nicely :)
