Love these pictures of Scotland by Bryan! It snowed in PA yesterday and I just love it! It usually doesn't snow too much until February, so this was such a nice surprise! Everything is just so at peace when it snows...

Friday Fancies -- Holiday Party!

Happy Friday! Ahh, Friday. And less than 3 weeks until Christmas, which means holiday parties every weekend! I found this dress on Pinterest and thought it was PERFECT for a holiday party! Swoon, right?! I totally wish I owned this dress and could do my hair in a braid like in the picture below. It would be SO  perfect. What would you wear?

Friday Fancies -- Black Friday

happy Black Friday! {av} may have taken off on this Friday Fancies... but I'm a little behind, so I think I'll do my Black Friday outfit this week!

 

do you all shop today?? I LOVE it! I just started shopping on this day a few years ago and I'm so glad I did! this year I'm shopping alone, but I'm completely ok with it because this is usually when I get my Christmas shopping done anyway. but here is just a simple, casual outfit I would wear to shop all day long. I'm so excited to drive down to Maryland and have the whole day to myself just to shop!

if i had a boy...

I know, I know. I'm a senior in high school and what am I saying I need a boy for? Just because it would be fun, that's why.

 

How awesome would it be to have a best friend that's with you all the time, compliments you, snuggles with you, goes on cute dates with you, watches movies with you? How does it feel to be kissed? One other huge reason I can't wait to leave high school is because I'll be away from all the people who have never and probably will never ask me to prom or want to go out with me. It's getting pretty old, and I would like some fresh faces to see me every day. Have a different opinion about me. You know?

 

 

I'd be an awesome date. We'd go on picnics...

 

Have constant movie nights...

 

Bake and cook together...

 

We'd go on adventures all the time...

 

I'd make him the best gifts for Christmas and birthdays...

 

So all in all, I want a boy. One to be nice to me and make me happy. They seem pretty nice and I've heard their hugs are wonderful.

lately...

I thought I'd share some 'grams about what I've been up to lately!

 

{these are just some pictures of the beautiful Fall weather -- the first one is on Havre de Grace and all the others are in PA}

 

{I've been chilling out a lot -- I have a new obsession with The Office and I need help!, I LOVE Miley! If you haven't heard her CD check it out!!, I just started The Fault in Our Stars and I'm reading it for the first time (crazy, I KNOW) and I'm loving it so far!, and I love using makers and water while painting watercolor... it's much better than actual watercolors in my opinion}

 

{and then this past week I've been SUPER busy! non stop moving, really! I met up with wonderful family from NC that I haven't see in 2 years -- it was great being with them!, I went to a Phillip Phillips concert! I've been waiting 8 months because I got them for my birthday back in March. He's phenomenal! I absolutely LOVED the concert and would forsure see him again, I went to a college visit to Carlow in Pittsburgh -- I loved being in the city but the school just isn't for me, and the last one isn't from my Instagram but I went to an amazing corn maze with my cousin and her boyfriend a couple Sundays ago! It was a really great day!}

 

So tell me what's going on in your life! I have great posts lined up. I shouldn't feel silly for not blogging much, but I do. Even though I've just had a lack of inspiration and don't really know what to post about, I love coming to my blog. It's a place where I can come home from school and put my thoughts on virtual paper. I love being myself on here.

I've posted so many times about college... but I just want to say how excited I am! I'm still in the application process and haven't been accepted anywhere yet, but I can still be excited, right?

 

I just can't wait to get away from York and HOPEFULLY head to Rhode Island. I really don't want to jinx it and end up not getting into RIU. I'm getting really worried though because, yes, there is that possibility of rejection. RIU is the only place I want to go right now and it was be heart braking if I didn't get in.

 

Anyway, I'm excited to not be around my family 24/7 and have a room that I can decorate without my mom freaking out about too many pictures on the walls. There's just constant yelling in my house and I'm so tired of it -- I want to get away from it and experience something new. I've said in the past how I've never gone away to camps or anything, and that makes me a little nervous because I'll probably get homesick. But honestly, I don't think I will. I've been in this house for so long, around the same people and same bickering and I just can't wait to get away from it all and start something new.

there will be countless more posts like this, but I just can't believe that graduation is in 7 short months and in 10 short months I will (hopefully) be living in a state other than PA. (cross your fingers!)

Friday Fancies -- Boo-tiful Halloween

happy Friday! woo, what a long week. I can't believe it's almost Halloween! like I said before, I love Halloween! we always go to my neighbor's house for her Halloween party and it's so fun! it's with a bunch of little kids and it's just really fun to dress up, take pictures, and play games. this year the kids are all bugging me because this will be my last Halloween party for a while because of college next year. they want me to pick something awesome to wear. it took me forever to find something decent, but I'm going to be a Frenchman! how cute right?! I'm going to draw on a little mustache and say oui oui a lot ;)

I LOVE Halloween so much. don't you?? I love watching Edward Scissorhands (which probably isn't even categorized as a Halloween movie) while I carve my pumpkin. I love coming up with costumes to wear to my neighbor's Halloween party -- this year I'm going to be a Frenchman!
