Loving: Being a high school graduate! Cliché, yes. But while I have a lot to do this Summer and a lot on my mind, I feel like something has been lifted off my shoulders. I know I'll miss it, but right now it just feels great and I love rolling my eyes when I see a "little" high schooler walking around ;)

 

Watching: Many things! I've been pretty obsessed with Catfish on MTV lately. I've also been going to the movies a lot -- recently I've seen Neighbors (super good!) and The Fault in Our Stars (crazy good!) and then I'm planning on seeing 22 Jump Street in  few days (because Channing Tatum). Oh, and then 4th of July weekend I really want to see Tammy! Have you see the trailer for that? SO funny! So yes! Movies!

 

Anticipating: College. Many emotions going on right now... nervous, really excited, overwhelmed, happy, scared. I'm only going about 5 and a half hours away, but it's still pretty crazy. So whether it's any of these emotions, I'm really anticipating college.

 

Listening to: Definitely The Fault in Our Stars soundtrack! SO GOOD. I really can't pick a favorite song out of all of them... maybe Wait by M83? Or Long Way Down by Tom Odell?? So many good ones! Have you seen The Fault in Our Stars yet?

Working on: Getting all my shit together. I feel like I'm repeating myself, but my mind is so scattered, so I just need to make many to-do lists this Summer and sort things out. It should be fine.

 

Wishing: The Summer would slow down a little. I mean, who doesn't think that, right? But it's crazy how fast it's moving and I've honestly never felt so many motions at once. I want to enjoy being with friends who I haven't seen in a while, but I also have to do my Summer homework, get all my dorm stuff, we're going on a few vacations, blah blah blah. Just so much to do, not enough time!

It's June! I literally never thought this month would come. Yay for Summer! Does anyone have any awesome plans?? Let me know, I'd love to hear!

Short hair

So! I should announce that I'm officially a high school graduate! Thank you, thank you very much.

 

But anyway... today I finally chopped my hair off! I got about 10 inches cut and I love it. Believe it or not, the last time I cut my hair was about a year and a half ago. Yes! A haircut was definitely in store for me. So now I'm just trying to think of all the things I can do with short hair! Besides takes super quick and non stressful showers.

A trip to LUSH is definitely in order for me! That place is so amazing... I don't know how I just discovered it a few months ago!

Netflix love

What have you all been watching on Netflix lately? I pick a show and then usually ending up watching the whole series in about a month. I think from the beginning of the school year up until now, here's what I've watched:

 

The Office -- So funny!! I can't believe I was late on this band wagon and didn't start watching it until it was over!

 

Keeping Up With the Kardashians -- I've watched every season probably 2 times so far hehe! It's just so good. Plus I've watched Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami.

 

Hart of Dixie -- It's such a sweet show. It's perfect to watch on a rainy day and it's one of my favorites! Rachel Bison is amazing too ;)

 

Bob's Burgers -- This is honestly the funniest show I've EVER seen and if you haven't seen it before, watch it right away! I laugh so hard I cry!!

 

And I'm currently watching The Secret Life of the American Teenager -- it's really good so far! I can't say much since I'm only on the sixth episode or so, but I think this will be my summer show since there are 5 seasons in the series. I'm ready!

 

Netflix is a great thing ;)



Big, exciting month ahead

I can't believe I only posted 7 times in April this year! What's wrong with me?? It's not even that I feel bad, it's just that I love this blog and it makes me sad that I'm at such a blogging rut. I can never think of anything to post anymore! Give me suggestions and ideas about this [problem] if you can, please!

 

I didn't even give a formal 'hello' to May... so hello May! What a beautiful, crazy month, full of new experiences and big changes.

Hot yoga

I'm sure you've heard of hot yoga before... have you tried it?? If so, let me know!

 

I did it for the first time this morning and it was just a beginner class (at least that's that they told us.. haha!). It was GREAT though. It's super intense and kind of hard to handle, but the feeling afterwards is fabulous.

 

You do yoga in a room that's 105 degrees and 40% humidity -- crazy, right?! It's gets crazy hot and you're drenched in sweat by the end. Having sweat pour off your body is a great feeling, though. Literally, you sweat in parts of your body that you didn't even know could sweat and by the end you can ring out your hair.

 

I highly recommend trying it at least once. Be prepared to sit down if you start to get dizzy or nauseous and only take a couple sips of water here and there throughout the class. You'll feel amazing after 90 minutes of... suffering. ;)
