Trick-or-Treat

one time, my Nana sent us a card and i guess she forgot it was Valentine's, so on the card she said "Trick-or-Treat" - haha! it was really funny, and weird.

today i went with my dad to his old college (where my parents also got married) and it was a wedding renewal ceremony! but of course my sister was sick, so my mom had to stay home. soo that didn't work out very well. but i was still a nice mass and i got to have lunch with my grandparents, aunt and uncle!

then we went to see some other stuff - see that window down in the bottom left corner? that was the kitchen window of my moms first apartment! ha! she only had like 3 windows in her place because hers was, like, underground.

finally, i had to share this. this is probably the funniest commercial i've seen in awhile! haha!

Friday Fancies - Valentine's Day

hey, all! i'm so glad it's Friday - the week went pretty fast until today. no re-cap needed. but now we have {av}'s Friday Fancies! this weeks theme was Valentines, which i suppose was pretty obvious. i was pretty leery about mixing red and pink - but i did it!

so, the red pants idea was from my friend Abby, because she has red pants. i think i do dresses and skirts too often for Friday Fancies anyway. i don't have anything to dress up for on Valentines, so it's all good! as for the shirt, i couldn't decide which i liked better, so i guess it's up to you :) i used a lot of jewelry and a pink bag. also, right now i love loafers! (those up there ^ are actually mocs. i was going for loafers, but those mocs are cute!)

so yeah! have an awesome weekend! right now i'm planning to go to salvo with my friend, Brianna, tomorrow - so hopefully it doesn't snow! :)

a very, very happy 18th birthday to my wonderful friend Abby!!! after school she got a surprise tea party and it was bunches of fun! i love throwing people surprise parties - but it was pretty hard not mentioning it on the blog, if i do say so myself. more so than not mentioning it out loud! anyway, hope you had a great day, Abby!

Take Thyme Today

 today my friend Abby and i went to a nearby tea shop called Take Thyme Today, and it was soo nice! it was a perfect little place. my neighbor is actually the owner, so i knew about it but never really got to go. so she talked us and gave us tea samples and it was great!

so i got this mug and this tea! i'm pretty excited about it! i think i'll go make myself some right now :)

i definitely have to go back soon!!

February

woah! January went super fast! crazy how that happens. then eventually we are saying how fast the year went by!

so today i walked to the gym, because one again, it was gorgeous out. and it as awesome seeing how many people were taking walks, and on the rail trail - just like spring! woo! AND it's February 1st. bonus.

oh yeah... and it's Harry Styles' birthday.. hehe ;)

10 Things On My Mind

So I haven't done a post like this in awhile and I have some time on my hands, and I thought, why not? Here are some things that are on my mind: (mostly things that I want, though, because I'm a brat ;)

1. Summer Clothes

Everything I have bought for the past few months have been Winter things, so I don't have that many Summer things. Next time I go shopping, it will be for warm weather!

California and cameras

so i thought i would tell you about my dream last night. it was pretty good! but slightly frustrating.

so i was in San Francisco with some people from school, (i think it may have been the tennis team, come to think of it) and we were camping on a hill type thing. the hill over looked the city of San Fran, and it was so awesome! so i took out my camera to take a picture that looked exactly like this:

pretty right?! so i tried to take the picture, but my camera was telling me it need to be charged. so i tried putting batteries in it, but i guess i forgot that it doesn't take batteries and that it needed to be plugged in and charged.

...then i started putting crayons in it as batteries? but it worked! but then as soon as i was about to take the picture, we had to leave in a big rush, and my camera doesn't work well in the dark, so i couldn't take it quick enough.

so yeah! it was a pretty sad story. but i think i have a thing with California and cameras, because a few nights ago i had a dream i was in Los Angeles and went into a tool shop and saw Justin Bieber. i tried to take a picture of him, but i couldn't get my camera to work and as soon as i got it to work, he was leaving.
