Friday Fancies -- City Life



Another Friday! Hooray! This is the first 5 day school week we've had in a really long time, and I'm so ready to sleep in. Unfortunately, I have to wait to sleep in until Sunday because tomorrow I'm headed to NYC! Actually, I'm going on a college visit in Sparkill, but afterwards, NYC here I come!

I LOVE the city. I love it even more during Christmas time, but this works fine too! Hey, if I end up going to this college, I could go to NYC every weekend! (The dream!) I feel like it's imperative to be stylish while in a big city. Is that just me? I want to feel like a real New Yorker, so when going to the big apple, ya got to dress to impress. Eh, maybe I'm wrong, but style doesn't hurt!

 

Yesterday I was in DC and it took me a good hour to pick out an outfit the night before, even though I was only walking the streets for about an hour and a half!

Friday Fancies -- Pantone's Color of the Year

Happy Friday once again! I hope you've all had a great week... I had a cold snowy one. We were the only school in the district to not have off on Wednesday because of ice. So I think that just about explains the kind of week I had ;)

Friday Fancies -- Sparkle and Shine!

Well, it's currently 27 degrees where I live and I'm SO cold. But that doesn't take away my Christmas spirit! For my sparkle and shine outfit, I of course added this big, fancy necklace. And I think gold is just the perfect color for the holidays, so that's what I based why outfit around. What would you wear?

Happy Friday! Ahh, Friday. And less than 3 weeks until Christmas, which means holiday parties every weekend! I found this dress on Pinterest and thought it was PERFECT for a holiday party! Swoon, right?! I totally wish I owned this dress and could do my hair in a braid like in the picture below. It would be SO  perfect. What would you wear?

happy Black Friday! {av} may have taken off on this Friday Fancies... but I'm a little behind, so I think I'll do my Black Friday outfit this week!

I just started shopping on this day a few years ago and I'm so glad I did! this year I'm shopping alone, but I'm completely ok with it because this is usually when I get my Christmas shopping done anyway. but here is just a simple, casual outfit I would wear to shop all day long. I'm so excited to drive down to Maryland and have the whole day to myself just to shop!

Friday Fancies -- Boo-tiful Halloween

happy Friday! woo, what a long week. I can't believe it's almost Halloween! like I said before, I love Halloween! we always go to my neighbor's house for her Halloween party and it's so fun! it's with a bunch of little kids and it's just really fun to dress up, take pictures, and play games. this year the kids are all bugging me because this will be my last Halloween party for a while because of college next year. they want me to pick something awesome to wear. it took me forever to find something decent, but I'm going to be a Frenchman! how cute right?! I'm going to draw on a little mustache and say oui oui a lot ;)

I have SO many outfit crushes -- there are so many stylish people out there! but for today I chose Vanessa Hudgens. she's so gorg! and when you Google her, her outfits are amazing. she's so boho and laid back, but really pulls it off in the most stylish way. I love her!

happy Friday! oy vey.. it's the end of a long week. we had off on Wednesday for 'snow' that turned out to be just a lot of rain. i shouldn't complain, but now i have gym class on my birthday :( (which is Monday!) and we're starting our research paper now, so for the next month it's going to be craziness. at least i finished my research book! that's probably what i was worried about most. but enough of my high school problems!

well happy Friday!! i was lucky to have off for a teacher in service day today. so i don't wanna brag, but.. :) anyway! this week for {av}'s Friday Fancies, we're blinging things out! i've seen this look everywhere -- when people layer a chambray shirt and a sweater and then wear a really fancy necklace. i really like it, but i would never wear it because i get to hot with layers. or with anything, really. but don't get me wrong! i love the way this looks on other people!

ahh, Black Friday! gotta love huge sales. last year was the first year i actually went out for it and LOVED IT! i didn't realize how great the sales were -- and we went to the Gettysburg Outlets and they weren't even that busy! so i'm determined to go shopping again this year. i don't think we'll be meeting up with friends like we did last year, but hopefully my friend, Emmy, and i will definitely take a trip to the outlets!

Friday Fancies - Autumn Leaves

happy Friday! this week {av} has another Fall outfit on store! those are the best outfits to create. so if i were to go out to a pumpkin patch or just take a walk with the Fall leaves blowing, this is the outfit i would probably wear! i had to have the boots, and the orange and red in the sweater jacket make it soo much better for Fall. i wish i had that this outfit!!

this weekend is low key, but fun! tomorrow i'm helping out at my old Elementary school for their Fall Festival like i do every year. so i get to spend 2 hours with a bunch of kiddos! it's actually really fun, and one year i was in charge of face painting, so that was super fun!
