my weekend

i had a GREAT weekend! for the 4th we just hung around, went to the pool, them had a little BBQ at home. then Friday my friend Jennette FINALLY came to visit me! it's been forever since we've seen each other and every time we try to get together, something comes up and we have to cancel.

 

since she only told me she was coming on Wednesday, i didn't really have time to plan anything awesome, or think of fun places to go. that might sound strange, but i like to have fun things planned so we don't just stare at each other the whole time :) but when she came, we made a list of 20 things to do off of the top of our head. it wasn't the most interesting list, but while it gave us things to do, it also was almost like a scavenger hunt for us and we wanted to check everything off of our list.

 

i go to this consignment shop all the time and love it, so we went here. one of the things on our list was go shopping: check! we even got matching rings! at a consignment shop! what are the odds?!

then we had an awesome photoshoot!

this was probably my favorite part! we had a tea party under the stars. my deck was perfect for it because we have twinkly lights everywhere and you can look out to the city. after that we closed the umbrella and stargazed.

and then on Saturday we had another awesome photoshoot!

 

so fun! it was REALLY great! Jennette just makes me so happy and i have such a better feeling when i'm shopping or taking pictures with her as apposed to my school friends. these 2 days with her were just what i needed!

 

now tonight i'll be going to a baseball game to see our local team, the Revs, play. hope your weekend was as great as mine!
