Blue

 

I picked up these blue-dyed flowers for $5 the other day and they're so pretty! They really brighten up any room -- plus I think they get blue-r every time I see them!

 

Also, I love having my Nikon back in my hands. I didn't want to bring it to school because I just wasn't sure if that was smart, but I love using it again and capturing really great quality pictures!

Job search

Well, happy Summer (for me)! It's nice being home, but now I have to unpack all my stuff and I'm on a huge job search. I really don't know what to do... I've applied/called/visited all over and have no luck. Any tips??

Newport, RI

Today I went to Newport and it was so wonderful! It was so pretty and posh. Everyone had so much style and it was so clean and exciting. I'm so used to the gross OCMD Boardwalk and this was quite refreshing and nice! I'm honestly not the biggest fan of beaches for some reason (I know, crazy probably) but they're still so pretty to look at. It was a little bit over a 2 hour drive from southern MA, and definitely worth the trip :)

Currently

Loving: Summer! It's almost here guys!! I've made it through Freshman year and I'm so glad. It was rough, but it's done now and I can be in my home with my car and my family and I'm just so happy it's over.

 

Watching: That 70s Show... I feel like I repeat myself a lot on this blog. I like to re-watch shows all the time and right now I'm re-watching That 70s Show for the millionth time :)

 

Anticipating: A job. I'm not sure what it will be yet, but I need to find a Summer job. I'm really anxious about it because 1) I get nervous about things easily and 2) I'm worried I won't be able to find one, which wouldn't be good. So, yeah, fingers crossed.

 

Listening to: Milky Chance. How am I just now finding out about this group?!

 

Working on: Getting to go to my friend's wedding in June. I live in PA and her wedding's in GA. It's just the cost of travel and stay that are keeping me back, but she's one of my best friends, so I'm trying so hard to go.

 

Wishing: Time would slow down. The days are passing me by so quickly I can't even keep track. I'll be doing something and look at the time and it'll be 9:30 pm and I don't know where the day went! This Summer is going to fly by and I wish everything would slow down a little, ya know?

Annoyed

Arg. I've had a frustrating couple of days and it's annoying because I want to be happy since it's the last week of school. I'm just so annoyed and confused about things right now. Hopefully things will look up. But on a brighter note, I just finished my last class of freshman year!

This one is for someone looking for a laugh! This blog is HILARIOUS and I could scroll through forever. Zack is also a YouTuber and he's so funny -- check out his channel!

The month that I never thought would get here is finally here! It's been a long school year, but with 1 week left, I'm grateful. I'm grateful that I was able to come to such a nice school, that I got to have such unique experiences, and that the weather is finally getting warm.

Pray for Baltimore

I'm in complete awe of what's happening in Baltimore right now. This is the city where I grew up and it's where all my family is. They're all safe, thank God. These idiots are destroying the city and hurting innocent people! You can't drive out violence with violence. It's just WRONG. Try to stay safe, Baltimore! Hopefully this will all be over soon.

Move Forward

This week has sucked. It's only Wednesday, but I want it to be over. I hate saying that, because I want to enjoy everyday -- I don't want to wish days away. This week, however, my anxiety has gone through the roof. All I want to do is hide in my room and sleep out this whole week. I can't even do that though because the people in my hall are some of the mot disrespectful people I've ever met.

 

I hate this and I just want to go home. Lately, I've been questioning a lot of things about my life, including college. Is this even the path for me? Am I doing what I really want to do in life? Am I working towards a goal that will make me happy? I'm just not feeling happy doing what I'm doing at this point in time. I've tried so hard this year to get used to this and waited for it to get better, and while it's had it's really high ups and really low downs, I'm ultimately sad a majority of the time.

 

I saw this tweet and it really made me think.

 

So now I pose the question: what next? Do I want to continue on this path? Or try something new?

 

Thanks for listening to the rant. Last night I just kind of broke down and I wanted to write all my thoughts out somewhere.
